Super Pong Table

I have been Super SUPER busy lately working on my instructables entrys.

The first one is Super Pong Table, which is a coffee table with an inbuilt game of Pong that can be played with upto four players.

I should have a video done tonight along with the detailed instructable so stay tuned for more.

Here's a zip file containing all required files to build your own.

The zip includes:

PCB layout (in diptrace format)
Schematic (in diptrace format)
Sourcecode (in swordfish basic)
Hex file (just a standard hex file to be programmed to the microcontroller)

Thats an Excellent project Brad and very well put together!.

not sure I would like to solder all them LEDs, must have taken many hours? and Im surprised that the microchip is only working at 8mhz to do all that!.

Yes - it did indeed take a long time to put this one together and I still didn't actually get it finished properly due to the guy not sending the LED's

It was suppose to have four different side wall colors (so each player has their own unique color.

This has been my most controversial project as it seems, I forgot to upload the links for people to make their own and they went crazy about it being a money making scheme. So I have been trying to clear my name on multiple websites! hackaday and instructables being the big ones.

I would like to change the length of points you have to get before you win.

Any chance we can have power ups?

I think you could really program a lot of games with that table of yours.

Maybe I could have an option at the start to select how many points each player starts with. (you could rotate the paddle to increment / decrement the number)

Power ups would also be cool. I have been thinking of an RGB version of this table which would make power ups easier to handle because they could be their own unique color.

So many possibilities, so little time...
