best prices for LED matrix displays
I have been searching the internet far and wide for the best priced LED matrix displays and have finally found these guys:
http://www.wanzhouled.net/
If you want more information or to get a price on something, you can message james - salesb@wanzhouled.net
Their website doesn't contain prices but James sent me a whole heap of quotes for different LED panels such as: NOTE - some of these contain RGB LED's and then some of them contain separate Red, Green and Blue LED's to make up one pixel. You can tell which ones these are because they have written in the description something like "1R1G1B" which means each pixel is made from three LED's (one red, one green one blue) The 'P' stands for the spacing of the LED's E.G. P10 means they are 10mm apart.

Re: best prices for LED matrix displays
This is a great find and share Brad, I have been looking at getting a 32x32 RGB

If you don't know what Voltage your country is using, you shouldn't be doing electronics

Re: best prices for LED matrix displays
I forgot to mention that originally the postage cost was around $40 because they first quote by TNT / DHL. But then I asked if they could send it by regular airmail and then they said it was $10 to Australia.
What are you plans for the 32x32 display Gav? Maybe we could work on some project together?

Thats a great saving, which exact rgb matrix did you go for? P5(1/16scan) 32x32 RGB is 22.2USD?.. do you have a link to the specific one by any chance?.brad wrote:I forgot to mention that originally the postage cost was around $40 because they first quote by TNT / DHL. Well I was looking at something like you've put together?, I saw one of your video's (picNduino) and you was running a RGB matrix.. looks so cool in RBG.. I'll be more than happy to make a project with you Bradbrad wrote: What are you plans for the 32x32 display Gav? Maybe we could work on some project together?

Re: best prices for LED matrix displays
Unfortunately I don't have a link - i've just been dealing directly with James (using that email I posted in the first post)
I basically went with the cheapest one just for now to experiment for a bit which was the $22.20c 32x32 RGB Matrix -
P5(1/16scan) 32x32 RGB is 22.2USD
I have actually been working with my older 16x32 Matrix displays and have come up with a way of achieving 512 colors using the PICnDuino. I'll make a new thread and we can use that as a bit of a hub for brainstorming ideas!
