2D/3D Computer Graphics Articles

Post by Chuckt » Tue Apr 08, 2014 12:43 am

This may be a little too advanced for microcontrollers:
This is a very exiting articles in three parts, about Text/2D/3D graphics operations carry out by first to modern graphics cards

The second part talks a little about DMA engine in graphics card perhaps for transferring data from the network directly to the video memory (frame buffer video? ?).

I think you're right there Chuck although I think FPGA's can be made to perform quite well as a 3D graphics processor.

You should check out this board Papilio One - 500K FPGA, check out some of the game examples?

It even uses the Arduino IDE
If you don't know what Voltage your country is using, you shouldn't be doing electronics ;-)
