E1115 PS/2 Keyboard to ASCII Converter.
The E1115 PS/2 Keyboard to ASCII Converter is a single chip solution dedicated to producing a single TTL ASCII character on the “press” of a keystroke. It is designed to offload the process intensive complex keyboard decoding of PS/2, allowing the host microcontroller to better allocate its resources. The output is a selectable TTL serial or a clocked serial data with interrupt signal.

According to the .pdf:

“Other control keys such as Alt, Ctrl, NumLock, and ScrollLock have no effect on the keys although outputs are produced.”

So if someone could implement these with a pic, you would have a good product. Better yet, USB is not hobbyist friendly and PS/2 keyboards are slowly becoming obsolete so a chip to read USB keyboards might make more sense.

Graham as actually put together a Swordfish Module for PS2 keyboards http://www.digital-diy.com/swordfish-mo ... bdbas.html
If you don't know what Voltage your country is using, you shouldn't be doing electronics ;-)

I dont see any other issue apart from the missing image at the top of the page?

It looks like he is using a 18F2520 microchip, but you could use any 18F PIC
Device = 18F2520 // 18F2520 PIC in use, could be any 18F PIC
