I posted some of the videos here on a message board for people who have little exposure to microcontrollers and one of the users thought it was amazing stuff. Don't underestimate the appeal that your hobby has and don't underestimate the appeal it has for some people.

Sometimes we don't share because we're shy at times. Shyness is being scared and the way to overcome it is to tell people that we can be shy because people will have empathy for us for being shy and we don't have to be scared because people won't always remember everything when we tell them when we told them we were shy.

I think sharing our hobby with different people will be a win - win.

I very much enjoy sharing my hobby with the students I teach - I guess the good thing is that they already have an interest in electronics, that's why they are there already!

I have plans to setup a one a week type gathering where I can show those interested how to program microcontrollers.
