This is a gallery of my photos on the Commodore MOS Building:

I am looking for a hard drive that has the rest of my photos and I may post more if I find them. I posted pictures of the front. I feel the pictures of the back of the building probably show more of what went on.

Re: Commodore MOS Building
Thanks for the great photo's Chuck. I hold fond memories of the Commodore and Amiga line of computers

Re: Commodore MOS Building
The front of the building faces a golf course and I only heard in the magazines about it until I visited the building. I guess it was the perfect place to do a sales pitch.
On the back of the building were a lot of vents so I guess they had a lot of ovens and there was a big board on a pole with probably two dozen or more electric meters. They had a seperate building for storage. It was a big building for its day and these guys must have been heavy hitters (homeruns) in their day!
One of the engineers said you had to watch where you parked your car or you might get residue (probably hazardous) on your car.
I have a few links and the discussion that started it:
http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread. ... demolished
http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/vie ... =25#438496
I also got to talk to the previous owner.
I looked at it again on google maps and can't tell if the building is still there but I didn't see new construction so I guess permission to build a velodrome was not given unless the maps aren't correct.

Re: Commodore MOS Building
How great would it have been to have had a visit to the facility back in it's prime.
I guess it's quite sad now to see that it is all shut down and possibly gone.
