Yes, I was looking at various designs online and found this one to be the best .
Do you have any links for a variable dual rail PSU Brad ? I wouldn't mind making one for my workshop

Re: Audio amp based on TDA2003
Thx
The next stage is to build another identical one, get a dual gang pot and an Ipod line in/charge desk stand thing.
Then I'll have a stereo ipod dock that will charge too.
I think I'll make the cabinet out of wood and make it look old fashioned ... maybe oak

Re: Audio amp based on TDA2003
Hi Gav,
Thanks I must say again I'm amazed at the quality, the vid does it no justice
It did get very hot with a smaller heatsink running off my bench PSU, drew about 1/2 amp at 9v. Running on the little 9v supply with that sink ( stolen from an old laser printer ) it's cold to touch.

Dual Rail PSU
Hi guys, Thought I would share some of my latest stuff. I've been learning about op amps and audio amps so decided I would build one. The most important thing with any amp is a good PSU...so I thought I would make a Dual rail one. Heres the result. The 78** and 79** can be replace to give any voltag...

Thats a great link thanks Gav.
My next project is making a decent audio amp so all this is very helpul
I've already made a decent dual rail PSU, just waiting for a few resistors etc and I'll post it all up once done

Re: DMX Controller
Hi Gav, I have built an almost identical circuit to this as I've been playing with amps / filters peak detectors etc... I am using a small electret mic to pic up sound then a low pass filter and adjustable comparator for counting beats ... purely for fun :) What I wanted to know is do you use a mic ...

Re: Help with a simple clock program
Hi Gav, Yes I did read it and it does make complete sense now. What confused me was the ms count ... but once I understood the count was carried over it clicked ... so it is a very accurate method :D Thanks for posting it, I read the thread and thought .... hang on that sounds familiar  Cheers ...

Re: Help with a simple clock program
Hi Gav, Thx for the reply. Whats confusing me is what the timer is actually working at. If it works at ( scaled at 1000 as in code ) 1638 then at 6 cycles its 9828 and at 7 its 11466 The code is set to ms>=10000 ... so does it roll over at exactly that or 11466 ? I ask as the code I've written seems...
