Very nice sdudley, you got the pictures to work in the end :) hehe! Are these joysticks or are they like push buttons!!? :) I did not, that must have been Brad's handy work! They are 4-directin joysticks with a center push button. http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/alps-skqu-4-direction-joystick-w-sw...

Hi, as we are on the subject of resistors I just thought I would share a little more info on resistors and will try not too get to complicated hehe! Resistors are used to restrict current flow in a circuit and to a component. as Brad pointed out above, Resistors used in electronics can have resistan...

Cheers for that Brad, I thought my profile image was just the thing for your site hehe! :) and no i didnt use a resistor on each LED, thats an advantage of using a constant current sink driver, is that almost any LED can be used and the supply current remains constant regardless of the LED forward v...

Yeah i thought they was a good price too Brad :) When i used them, i used a BC637 transitors to supply the current (5volt)to the leds, as the current output on those transitors seemed high enough to give you a good led brightness, so yeah this gives you your current souce, but this can be controlled...

This is probably useless info but if you cant get diffused LEDs then you can get a spray, If you have LEDs in a clear package you can diffuse them using Plasti-Kote Glass Frosting spray, obviously this maybe called something different in your area? but this works quite well but don't spray the LEDs ...

Hi, I think 5mm RGB leds are better, you can get square PIRANHA RGB but they tend to display the light around the base of the led aswell. I think personally 5mm RGB diffused work well.. :) but im sure Brad will tell you what he used and his opinion.. :)

Hi Brad,,

Great site by the way... Just wondering on this 8x85 POV system, how do you save your picture (image) to the eeprom after making it using the HxD?? Do you save it to the microchips eeprom or the 27C512 chip that you use in your project??
