Re: Image conversion software

That is your problem, but as a quick fix to it I just did the calculation and put it into an integer so that I did not have to go find all the variables. It will also run slightly faster this way as it will not have to do the math each time. I doubt you could tell the difference in speed though.

Re: Image conversion software

I was looking at the problem you were having but the decimal places are not showing up unless I make it a really big picture. I think this should "fix" it but i don't have the problem you are talking about sorry. replace your DoConversion() with this. All I did was add arraySize. Let me know if this...

It when a little like this: I would never think that this site would go down but I am glad to know that it is still up with mostly the same people still doing interesting things...

Image conversion software

Hi Brad, Its been a while, I see your page is still active. I was hoping that you could point me in the direction of your code for the image conversion software you made for your pov. I will be making a bike wheel pov and was going to modify the code for a radial pov. Any help would be great. Thanks...

A new game with a retro feel

I know how most of the people here like retro games and being creative. My friend introduced me to a game the other day that has caught my creative side. Its called MineCraft. This game is still in alpha and has become a huge hit. It is a little hard to explain what it is. Even the creator has a har...

External Clocks

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this as I don't know the answer I just have the question. How do you interface an external clock source to a pic? I have been looking around and have not found anything really on this topic. I have always used the internal oscillator in all my projects ...

Re: Universal PIC project board

Thanks for the quick responses. My first idea was to use multiple sockets but looking a the variety of pics I have at home of the different pin counts I saw that they all had the same basic pins so I was going to go with just one socket with an "adapter". But looking at it some more I just lucked ou...

Re: Universal PIC project board

Ok so I have been thinking about this project for a few weeks now and I'm stuck at a crossroads. I started by wanting one board that would allow me to test any circuit that might come to mind. But not every pic has the same pin layout. I'm planning on using a universal 40 pin zif socket. This allows...

Universal PIC project board

Im working on a PIC project board that can be used to program and test PICs and circuits. I have a small design built on some protoboard, but Im trying to make a pcb that would look nicer and have more functions. Im designing it in a "modular" form. This meaning that each section of the board is not...

Re: Project Brainstorming!

I have seen that before where you use a green a blue and two smaller red LEDs to make a pixel. This would work a little better but how would you make the 8x8 matrix's? As far as materials I am in the blind. I have seen many different displays that make a grid and put a diffused plastic over it. That...
