I knew the internal oscillators weren't that good, but I had no idea how much they changed for tiny variations in temperature!

Maybe I should be switching to crystals...

The MSP430 from TI had a demo where you rubbed the chip and it was a temperature sensor. I'm wondering if they were polling the built in oscillator too.

if they were using the internal oscillator then I am sure it would have had an effect on the reading.
